FRIDAY NIGHT IN THE OPERA HOUSE
 
6:30 p.m. - 7:15 p.m. Tuey Wilson
Tuey goes beyond the usual display of juggling skills to include a wide array of manipulations. From the simplicity of tricks with a fifty-cent piece and yoyo, to the complexity of his ten part combination trick, Tuey runs the gamut, throwing cups about, spinning ropes, balls and rings, wearing flaming head gear while juggling torches perched a-top a seven foot freestanding ladder and one stunt involving three Nerf arrows, two spinning balls, and the ladder. The physical skill and coordination displayed on stage is of a level rarely seen in juggling shows. But, as we all know, mouth-gaping skill and mind boggling tricks mean absolutely nothing without stage presence and, most importantly, humor. Tuey has both. Audiences love his unassuming friendly style, and the only thing they do more than applaud during his show… is laugh.

Bobby Awe and his band have been entertaining for more than 30 years throughout Iowa. Besides Bobby (vocals, rhythm guitar and steel guitar) members of the band are Dale Eichor (vocals, harmony and bass guitar) Arlo Hogrefe (lead guitar, mandolin, fiddle, steel guitar and harmony vocals) Richard Coleman (vocals and drums)

The Country Awe Stars Band has become a tradition to Frontier Days celebrations. They were scheduled and performed on the very first event and every year thereafter, missing only one, due to a severe storm that forced the show to be cancelled.

Bobby Awe and the Country Awe Stars are looking forward to this year event and invite all their country fans to come out and be with them to celebrate another great year of Frontier Days at the Fort. Lets all keep the tradition alive
